All Blacks: Beauden Barrett late scratching from Bledisloe Test against Wallabies

Beauden Barrett reacts to the All Blacks' defeat to the Boks in Wellington.

All Blacks fullback Beauden Barrett is a late scratching from the starting line-up to play the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup opener this evening.

Barrett, 33, was listed to start in the No.15 jersey, but has been withdrawn with an illness.

Winger Will Jordan will move to fullback, with Sevu Reece coming into the line-up and Blues utility Harry Plummer added to the bench for a possible international debut.

The All Blacks lose a ton of experience at the back, with Barrett playing 130 tests, but Jordan has played most of his Super Rugby career at the back for the Crusaders.

He started there for the All Blacks in their last outing against the Springboks in Cape Town.

Plummer, 26, was added to the squad as an injury replacement for Blues teammate Stephen Perofeta.
