All Whites head coach Darren Bazeley has named his 24-man squad for their two home FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Vanuatu and Samoa.
The squad features a potential debut for Auckland FC forward Liam Gillion, who has made a promising start in the new A-League season.
"It is always special to name a player for their debut, but Liam Gillion has earned his call-up after some really impressive performances for Auckland FC to start his professional career," said Bazeley.
The two matches this month are set to be held in Hamilton and Auckland.
The squad features nine players currently playing for either the Wellington Phoenix or Auckland FC in the A-League.
Joe Bell, Callum McCowatt, Sarpreet Singh, and Finn Surman return to the squad after not featuring in the squad for victories against Tahiti and Malaysia last month.
There is also a return for Auckland FC defender Francis de Vries who hasn't featured for the last year.
"Qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is the absolute priority for us, so we have named the strongest side we can for these games," Bazeley said.
"It is getting more and more challenging to select an All Whites squad with the amount of players around the world now pushing for selection, but these are the kinds of challenges you want as a coach."
The All Whites will miss the talented Ben Old who has been sidelined with a knee injury while playing for his club AS Saint-Étienne in the French top flight. The 22-year-old is expected to be out for four to six months.
Chris Wood is in the form of his life, currently sitting second in the golden boot race in the English Premier League, scoring eight goals from 10 matches.
Twenty-five-year-old Singh recently signed for Portuguese club U.D. Leiria after becoming a free agent. Singh was released from Hansa Rostock following their relegation to the third tier of German football.
