  • The storm was downgraded from a category 1 to a tropical low and expected to cross the Moreton Bay islands on Saturday morning and the mainland coast between Maroochydore and Brisbane later in the day. The Australian Bureau of Meteorology says the system still poses a "dangerous" flooding risk.
  • Winds up to 120km/h and widespread rainfall totals of 300mm to 500mm were expected across the duration of this event, leading to major flood risks.
