Kiwi triathlete Hayden Wilde has continued his domination of the T100 circuit with a comfortable win at the French Riviera event.
It marked the 27-year-old’s second win in as many races since returning from injury after he was hit by a truck on a training ride in Japan in May.
It was also his third T100 win of the 2025 season — a performance triathlon fans have become well-accustomed to.
Wilde came out of the 2km swim within touching distance, before going to work on the 80km bike.
He eventually created a gap to the rest of the field alongside German Rico Bogen.

"I didn't really want to see the front of the race until the climb... we just looked at each other and I was like 'All right let's do it'. We had about a 50 second gap at the top," Wilde said after the race.
From there, the pair were neck and neck through the final transition, before Wilde took off through the first few kilometres of the 18km run.
Perhaps his biggest test would come overnight though, backing up the T100 race with a shorter, 25km world championship race.
“It’s a hard thing to do, I’m fortunate that my stomach is made of steel [as] I was stuffing my face with tortillas, and rice, and chicken to get some carbs in with a little bit of juice as well,” he laughed.
The World Triathlon Championship Series event comprising of 25.75km – a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run – would kick off at 12.45am Monday NZT.
