One lucky Lotto player in Nelson is $16m richer after winning last night's Powerball draw.
The winning numbers were 5, 6, 13, 27, 31 and 32. The bonus ball was 3 and the Powerball 4.
The ticket was sold at Fresh Choice in central Nelson.
The prize comprised $15m from Powerball first division, and $1m from Lotto first division.
The winner became the 19th Powerball multi-millionaire of the year.

Twelve other ticket holders won $21,283 with Lotto second division.
Strike Four rolled over and would rise to $400,000 on Saturday.
