Manchester City striker Erling Haaland's blonde locks turned heads in the world of football, and now they're gone.
Haaland, 26, announced on his social media he had decided to shed his hair, headlining his YouTube video, "New Season, New Hair".
He said in the video, "This beautiful blonde hair...time to let it go."
As his side begins the new Premier League season, Haaland joked to friend and former Swedish player Zlatan Ibrahimovic that he was hoping the buzz cut would make him faster.
"I can't wait for the fans to see," he said.
He received mixed reactions from his friends, in video calls with team-mate Jack Grealish, Oasis' Noel Gallagher and former manager Pep Guardiola.
"You look about 10 years old," said Grealish.
"I can't stop looking at the front of your hair. I love it."
Gallagher said he "loved" the cut and "change is good."
Before calling Ibrahimovic, Haaland said he had been told by the former Sweden player to never cut his long hair.
Ibrahimovic was shocked when he saw the buzz cut.
"What did you do? You lost a bet or what?" he said.
However, Haaland admitted it felt weird to have his hair gone but he had, "No regrets, never."
City won their opening match of the new campaign with two late goals in a 2-1 win over Bournmouth, with Haaland's new do unable to inspire him to find the back of the net.
