A man was found on Liverpool Crescent and taken into custody just after 10am.

The 38-year-old was due to appear in the Hastings District Court today, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and wounding with intent to injure.

"Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of both assaults, however police are not seeking anyone else in relation to these incidents at this time," Sayer said.
